Greater Sudbury Fire Services is hiring full-time firefighters and will be accepting applications until Jan. 18.

Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma is required, and fire service training from a community college or a recognized training academy is considered an asset.

Additional Information

The recruitment process consists of a formal application, examinations, physical testing and an interview, after which offers will be made to successful applicants.

After submitting your application, you will receive an email with a link to register for the aptitude test.

Applicants will be required to pay a one-time non-refundable administration fee of $102.65 + HST. Proof of payment will be required throughout the hiring process.

Examinations will be held Feb. 2 at the Fraser Building and Auditorium at Laurentian University, with physical testing on Feb. 19-22 at the Ben F. Avery Physical Education Centre.

Interviews will occur from Feb. 26-28.
