Do you want to be part of a committed and dedicated team? Come strengthen our existing group of Volunteer Firefighters with the Town of Innisfil!

We are currently hiring for all of our stations.  Submit your application by November 4, 2018.

 

Stations:

  • Station 1: 780 Innisfil Beach Road, Alcona
  • Station 2: 1214 20th Sideroad, Lefroy
  • Station 3: 2394 Victoria Street, Stroud
  • Station 4: 23 King Street North, Cookstown
  • Future Station: to be located at the corner of 13th Line and 25th sideroad

 

As a Volunteer Firefighter, you will be assigned to work under the supervision of Volunteer Captains and Full-time Firefighters to attend emergencies, administer First Aid/CPR, and operate and maintain equipment and fire stations.  You will participate in regular scheduled training and become certified to National Fire Protection Association standards.

Minimum Qualifications

You are physically able, have a valid driver’s licence and secondary school diploma or recognized equivalent, and knowledge of health and safety requirements.  Although not mandatory, preference will be given to applicants who have a DZ driver’s licence, a current standard First Aid certificate, and prior firefighting experience. You must live within an 8 km radius to one of our fire halls.
