Description

The Beiseker Fire Department is looking for motivated and dedicated individuals to be a volunteer firefighter. The Beiseker Fire Department is a volunteer Fire Department that provides fire protection, awareness, prevention, as well as other emergency services to the Village of Beiseker and surrounding areas. The department responds to a wide variety of emergency calls such as medical emergencies, fires, car accidents, and everything in between. Firefighters commit to 24 hour shifts at the hall to be able to respond to any emergency calls that come in during that time

Duties and Responsibilities

Firefighters will be required to:

- Commit to at least two 24-hour shifts per month

- Must be physically fit and able to perform extremely demanding tasks

- Be able to take instruction and follow the chain of command within the fire service

- Maintain a professional environment within the station and in public

- Be able to work well in team environments

Minimum Qualifications

- Minimum 18 years of age

- Standard First Aid CPR level C

- Hire is dependent upon a Police Check and Vulnerable Sector Check

- 3 year drivers abstract required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience is preferred but not required. Preference will be given to those with:

NFPA 1001 & 472 Training

MFR, EMR, or EMT Certification

Class 1,2 or 3 drivers licence with Q endorsement
