Description

We are currently looking for a local,  experienced Rescue Technician to join Irwin's in a full-time or part-time role to assist with both local and non-local projects. This role will include working as a Confined Space and High Angel Rescue Technician, and providing support to Irwin's Service Leads as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Rope and Confined Space Rescue ticket – Trained to a minimum of NFPA 1006 Operations level
• Minimum 2 years rescue experience (5 years preferred)
• Experience in industrial related safety positions, particularly confined space knowledge
• Experience with gas detectors
• Basic computer skills are a must have
• Must possess a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years rescue experience
• IRATA rope access certification would be considered an asset
• Valid Confined space attendant ticket is preferred but training will be provided
• Experience with Industrial Scientific gas detectors
• NCSO and valid First Aid ticket are preferred
• Experience instructing is a definite asset but training will be provided
