We are currently seeking certified and registered ACP Firefighters for our Kearl Oil Sands project. We are hiring both full time and casual work positions providing both scheduled and flexible work rotations. International SOS’s emergency services provide a diverse range of medical, firefighting and rescue professionals and are looking for the right candidates to excel and expand their profession as a member of our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in emergency response services as required
- Participate and contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly inspections and duties
- Comply with International SOS’s professional standard of Policies and Procedures
- Ensure patient care is consistent with International SOS’s professional and friendly standards
- Ensure equipment and transport vehicles are ready 24/7 for EMS response
- Work in sync with the clinical nursing staff providing aid and patient care as required
- Complete and assist with all required reports and documentation as needed
- Participate in continued medical education provided by International SOS
- Participate in required training, drills and skill testing
- Assist with internal onsite training programs
- Additional duties as required

Minimum Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Current (unrestricted) Advanced Care Paramedic registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics
- NFPA 1001 Firefighter level 1 & 2
- Class 4 Driver’s License
Additional Qualifications of Interest & Asset
- NFPA 1006 High Angle & Confined Space Level II
- Industrial and remote site work experience
