Description

Irwin’s Safety is on the lookout for certified emergency response professionals in BC for work on a project near Revelstoke. This role will include working as a Confined Space and High Angel Rescue Technician, and providing support to Irwin's Service Leads as required. (2 weeks on 2 weeks off rotation)

Qualifications

  • Must be certified in NFPA 1001 Level 1&2
  • Must have confined space operations training from a recognized provider
  • Must be certified in rope rescue operations, CPAT and Hazmat Operations
  • Must possess valid Fall Pro and OFA3 certificates
  • Minimum 1 year rescue experience (2 years preferred)
  • A valid Class 5 driver’s license and ability to get to work site is an asset
  • Valid Confined space attendant ticket is preferred but training will be provided
  • IRATA rope access certification would be considered an asset
  • Experience with gas detectors (preferably Industrial Scientific)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42.50 per hour

Work Location: In person
