Description

We have hired many Fire Fighters who are volunteers and looking for work that offers them flexibility around their hours.

Duties and Responsibilities

In the position of Rear Loader Driver your responsibilities will include but not limited to the operation of a 2 Man Rear Loader garbage Truck, and to ensure timely curbside collection of residential and mutli-residential waste.  Garbage bags and/or cans/ or bulk items such as furniture must be lifted into the rear hopper of the truck and dumped.  If it is a garbage can the can must be placed back on the resident’s property, flipped up side down.  The garbage bags or cans can weigh up to 50 lbs and need to be lifted from the ground up approximately 2 feet into the hopper.  You must be highly productive and have excellent customer services skills; as well you may be required to help with waste collection or help with other contracts.  You will be required make in excess of 800 residential stops per day.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have their DZ license and a clean drivers abstract to apply.
